Rooms are for the use of one person only. You should reserve your accommodation as early as possible and send full payment or a deposit of £200 with your application. We cannot reserve any accommodation without payment. We regret that we cannot book you additional nights before or after the course.

To reserve your accommodation, please complete the accommodation section on your application form. Places are limited, and rooms will be allocated as bookings are received — so book early to be sure of a room. If you decide to cancel your accommodation booking before 1 July 2009 we will ONLY refund the fee paid (less £50 cancellation charge), IF we are able to allocate the room to another student. All cancellations must be made in writing.

Please note that student residences do not offer the level of comfort or facilities you might expect in a hotel. As this accommodation is offered at special reduced rates, the terms and conditions may differ from those advertised on the halls' own websites. You are advised to obtain adequate personal travel insurance to cover you for any illness or accident which might prevent you from attending the course.

John Dodgson House will also be the residence for participants in PTLC2009, for the three nights 6, 7 and 8 August. If you are attending both PTLC and SCEP, you should be able to stay in the same room, but you must book and pay for accommodation separately when you register for the two events.
