Phonetics Teaching & Learning Conference

PTLC is a biennial international conference devoted to the teaching, learning and assessment of phonetics in all its guises, including (but not confined to):

• general phonetics

• phonetics for speech therapy and audiology

• phonetics for the performing arts

• phonetics for language teaching

• forensic phonetics

• the use of IT and distance learning in phonetics

PTLC2009 took place at UCL August 6th - August 8th 2009. The keynote address was delivered by Professor J. C. Wells.
