Phonetics Teaching & Learning Conference

PTLC is a biennial international conference devoted to the teaching, learning and assessment of phonetics

PTLC and ICPhS in 2011

Although no separate PTLC conference will take place in 2011, PTLC has been linked instead with a Special Session at the International Congress of Phonetic Sciences in Hong Kong, August 17-21 2011. It is also proposed to publish a collection of papers online as Proceedings of PTLC2011. Submissions are now invited for the ICPhS Special Session and Proceedings of PTLC2011.
  

PTLC is a biennial international conference devoted to the teaching, learning and assessment of phonetics in all its guises, including (but not confined to):

• general phonetics

• phonetics for speech therapy and audiology

• phonetics for the performing arts

• phonetics for language teaching

• forensic phonetics

• the use of IT and distance learning in phonetics

PTLC2009 took place at UCL August 6th - August 8th 2009. The 2009 Proceedings are available here.
