Dear All

The latest version of the Windows executable is now available on the
FTP site:

        ftp://synth.phon.ucl.ac.uk/pub/prosynth/pros120.zip

Unpack into a single directory and run prosynth.exe. You need MBROLA
tools and the En1 diphone database too. See README.TXT in the archive.

This version has:
o A help file describing the system, its components and the
          ProXML language
o Built-in functions (to improve performance) for:
                PRX ProXML interpreter
                PRETTY pretty printing
                MBROLA diphone output
o Configuration of replay, to allow synthesis with other
          software or diphone databases.
o Static linking with LTXML libraries (LT*.DLL no longer
          required)

Good Luck! Tell me what you think.

Mark
