fine by me - he's very welcome, though in that case we might want to get a
tight agenda together so that he doesn;t waste his time, if he doesn;t
want to be around for the full 2 days.

As far as I know it's CAmbridge PHonetics LAb/Seminar room. Start time, as
ever, is when those travelling say they will arrive. As early as possible
as far as I'm concerned.

As far as I recall, we have neither an agenda nor a chair. I would prefer
there to be an agenda before we meet, ideally with approximate time slots.
I'm willing to do it if people send me items. It would be very helpful if
you could estimate the time needed. If someone has already done it, many
thanks, and my apologies for not noticing. If it can't be done on Tuesday,
I propose that drawing up an agenda should be the first item of business,
and that we try to do it in 10 minutes max, which means that in my case at
least I;ll have to have listed the items before we meet!

Re chair. John is still coordinator of WP2 but he has just told me he's
too ill to come. In theory, WP4 has already started, and I;m it's
coordinator, but I don;t think we're ready to do anything on it except
bear its needs in mind. Would anyone like to chair? I'm not wild to do it,
but will if no one else will. However, to my mind, Jill or Richard would
be better/more appropriate. (I was going to volunteer to be secretary
before I knew John is ill.) We could also rotate chairs for different
topics, since it's a long meeting. Proposals/volunteers?

happy new year to all.

Sarah
