One more little issue:
for the purposes of the database, we mustn't get hung up on inflexions
etc. "laze" and "lays", whichever, or both. But we can't get bothered
about numbers of things like that at this point, I think. so yes in Jill's
words "supplement" rather than "replace". If you want /vd/ clusters etc.
though then you have to be aware that you've no choice: got to be a past
tense verb!
