RT list: using the list: replies

Dear all,

It sometimes happens that people intend to reply to everyone on the list but manage only to reply to the original sender.

When responding to an email on the list, to make sure that your reply goes to the list, click on 'Reply all' in your email application.

You'll then see that the address of the list -relevance@linguistics.ucl.ac.uk - appears in the 'Cc:' field at the top of the email.

If you only click on 'Reply', your email will only go to the original sender.

If you are not sure where an email is going to go, then before you click 'Send', check the 'To:' field and the 'Cc:' field.
