RT list: "proceduralization" experiment?

Hi all, my name is Giorgos, I'm a first year PhD student in the
Language Evolution and Computation Research Unit in Edinburgh.

I was wondering whether you'd be aware of any experiments showing
something like the proceduralization of conceptual representations, in
the way it diachronically happens in grammaticalization as shown in
Nicolle's(1998), or in LaPolla's(1997,1998,2003) work. It'd be fun to
know if such changes occur in an experimental time scale (even in
non-linguistic tasks.)
