Dear Jill, Jana, Mark and any other people who'd like a listen:

Thanks very much for the very good recordings -- a really superb effort!
Most are fine, but there are a very few clear errors, and quite a lot
that are supposed to have only 2 feet and I'm not certain about - would
like a second opinion, as discussed with Jill and Jana.

I'm attaching a text file of the utternaces that seem to me as if they
have, or might have, problems. I think the notes included are
self-explanatory. Please do get back to me if anything is unclear though.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY IN OUR LAB ALL DAY TOMORROW, TUESDAY
6 JULY. SO DON'T TRY TO GET HOLD OF SEBASTIAN OR ME BY EMAIL. OUR PHONES
WILL PROBABLY WORK. IF YOU WANT US AND DON;T FIND US, TRY US AT HOME:
        SEBASTIAN: 01223 351006
        SARAH: O1954 210181

many many thanks once again

Sarah

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Sentences for further consdieration from the June/July 1999 new
resonance database.

Notes:
(1) There are 3 sets:
  A. Senteces to re-record becuase they're definitely wrong.
  B. Sentences intended to have two feet that may have three, due to
possible stress on the difficult could/might word. Jill and Jana will
listen and decide - I'm happy to say the sentences have 2 feet if J&J
say they do).
  C. Some sentences that (to me) sound particularly good as having only 2
feet. Possible models for correcting those in B? And to make you feel good.

(2)
I suggest you transfer the original recordings of sentences you decide
to re-record into a subdirectory, with the same number together with
an extension like '.x', for extra, because they could come in useful.
