Testing material from York

Testing material from York is now on the ftp site in the file

testing_yrk19990215.tar.gz.crypt

Unfortunately, some utterances are duplicated; this is unavoidable for
testing in this way and keeping to the database.

What follows is duplicated in the files 00readme and 00key in the tarred
directory.

Best wishes,

Paul

Timing info: normal

example 2
=========

1006HalHnl.pho

Alterations made to uttmbrol output
===================================

The early version of uttmbrol didn't always select the correct MBROLA symbol.
Mark has fixed this; I've altered these files by hand using the labels in the
.lab files.

1119 files - durations altered based on .lab file - laryngeal stuff seems to be
wrong in the uttmbrol output; pitch point altered from 0 to 1

1122 files - changed pitch point in [D] from -4 to 1

1139 files - changed pitch point in [D] from 0 to 1

1187 files - changed pitch point in [@] from 0 to 1

Below are the sets of files I've created:

L = light
H = heavy

a = ambisyllabic
h = half-ambisyllabic
n = non-ambisyllabic

s = short vowel
l = long vowel
