I was in process of composing a note that says essentially the same thing
as what Richard's said. Mark has agreed also. Can we therefore make the
next management meeting for Nov 6, in Cambridge? I will have to be absent
11-12 and possibly 2-3 (I will try to get out of the 2-3 commitment).
John, I think it's essential we circulate an agenda beforehand. SOrry to
do this to you, but you ARE the current coordinator! Could we include on
the agenda:
(1) Discussion of (a) what type of information is to be passed to the
acoustic end by UCL and by York, (b) when, (c) what you want tested (in
February) . From this information, Cambridge can then estimate (d) what
(if anything) Cambridge should be aiming to add by way of spectral fine
detail to what you pass on. Sebastian and I will circulate a short paper
beforehand which should focus the discussion.
(2) the PRosynth paper for Oz - what you want said, as per my last email.
(3) date of next meeting. I think it should be in January, before term
starts (I think Jill mentioned 4-7 Jan as possible for her?). It;s too
hard to find a date we can all make in term time, and more eficient to
arrange it when we're all together.
cheers!
Sarah
