Dear All,

I will start now with doing formant analysis of the prosynth database
files. So, if anybody is interested in the formant data, this is your
chance to tell me your wishes or prefences.=20
One point at issue is for example the time step of the analysis.=20
As a consequence of an odd feature of the esps-feature
files, which makes it hard to align formant and f0-values, I decided
to use a time step of 0.005 sec, becauses this helps to minimize
the gap between formant and f0-values to an (I think) tolarable=20
error < 0.0001 sec. Anyway, some of you might be interested in even
finer timing information.=20

Any suggestions or comments will be wellcome!
