Now that I've spoken to John, I have been trying to collate people's
availability over the next 4 weeks. I've excluded Alex and Ali from the
equation, assuming they are flexible. This leaves 5 of us (John, Richard,
Sarah, Mark, Jill).
There is ***ONE*** date with 5 ticks!!!! -- though it would have to be
afternoon for Sarah:

This is much later than I would have hoped. If you think we MUST have a
meeting before then, here are the dates with 4 ticks; if you are the one who
CAN'T make it, please consider whether there is any way of freeing yourself
up:

Monday 3 November unavailable: Sarah
Tuesday 4 November unavailable: Sarah
(Week beginning 3 Nov is reading week at UCL, which makes Mark and me a bit
more flexible).
Personally I would be sorry if any of us missed the first project meeting.
If those earlier Fridays are really impossible I propose we bag Friday
afternoon, 7 Nov, and do as much preparatory work in advance as poss.
