I can't come on Friday 24, at least not until 2-2.30 (haven;t checked
train times) because I'm lecturing Fridays 11-12, Oct 24 thru Nov 14. In
fact, I was hoping we could do it around 17 Oct, which I freed up. John:
it would be very helpful if we could hear from you soon. To help, here's
my timetable:

Free:
Mondays thru 30 Oct. Not thereafter until Dec 8.
Tuesdays only if I can be back in Cambridge for 3 pm class, now thru Dec 2
Wednesdays I could probably manage, Oct 29, Nov 12, 26.
Thursday 16 OCt, not before noon or so. Not thereafter
Fridays 17 OCt, 21 & 28 Nov. Other Fridays, after 2-2.30.
Weekends, by application to my husband, who is basically well disposed but
would prefer not to be sole child-carer for too many weekends!

John, Richard: it would also help me if we could start communicating about
words etc. Below is an extract from an email I sent in September, in
response to Jill's request for info. Let me know if you;d rather take a
different approach.

re Jill's points for WP1:
* Design speech material
John and Richard, we had said something about getting together
over the summer to start this from our end, but it went the way of many
good intentions... There's a circularity problem here: perhpasthe three
of us should have a phone conversation to get things going? I have ideas
re some sounds and a few grammatical/prosodic contexts, butthey need to be
knitted into your formal structures, and I've no doubt you haveideas of
your own re sounds. Since there are 2 of you, would you like ot come up
with some times when you're both free andI'll let you know which is best
for me?

best to all

Sarah
