Before we get swamped by e-mail about the project, I have taken it
upon myself (well with Warwick Smith to do all the dirty work) to
set up a combined e-mail list and archive for the project.
I works like this:
mail sent to prosynth@phon.ucl.ac.uk
gets distributed to:
>> jl1@york.ac.uk
>> rao1@york.ac.uk
>> sh110@cam.ac.uk
>> jill@phon.ucl.ac.uk
>> alex@phon.ucl.ac.uk
>> mark@phon.ucl.ac.uk
and also gets archived at
http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/project/prosynth_archives
The clever part is that the archive is organised by THREAD so that
discussions look coherent even if they took place over an extended
time interval.
You can send material directly to the archive (and not to the mailing
list) at prosynth_archives@phon.ucl.ac.uk
You can send mail directly to the mailing list (and not to the
archive) at prosynth_group@phon.ucl.ac.uk
This is still experimental. Send me your comments.
Also send me more names to put on the distribution.
A question: do we want to password protect the archive?
