RT list: Announcing conference live stream

"Experimental and Empirical Approaches to Politeness and Impoliteness" is
an international conference dedicated to how perceptions of politeness and
impoliteness are shaped through language and affect the utterance
interpretation process.

The conference, the first of its kind in the US, will take place at the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign this Wednesday through Friday,
August 29-31, 2012.

As part of the conference, all six plenaries (by Jean-François Bonnefon,
Thomas Holtgraves, Kate Beeching, Jonathan Culpeper, Holly Cashman, and
Bruce Fraser) will be streamed live through the internet. To watch the
