According to RT, the relevance-theoretic comprehension procedure involves three steps:
" (i) constructing an appropriate hypothesis about explicit content (explicature) - decoding, disambiguation, reference resolution, and other pragmatic enrichment process; (ii) constructing an appropriate hypothesis about the intended contextual assumptions (implicated premises); (iii) constructing an appropriate hypothesis about the intended contextual implications (implicated conclusions)" (Wilson, 2004; Wilson and Sperber, 2004)
Is a contextual implication the same thing as an implicated conclusion?
Thanks a lot,
