Checking your network disk quota

To check your network disk quota  on the UCL Phonetics and Linguistics system

Log in to bell.phon.ucl.ac.uk using an ssh client such as putty. See instructions here.

At the bell$  prompt type the command: show_quota

You will  see a display  as below showing  your quota limit  for  your allocated network disk areas and  your current usage.
If your usage is near the limit you should delete any data you don't need or ask for a higher limit.
If you exceed the quota you will be automatically emailed a warning the following early morning and you will be able to
add more data up to the limit until "days left" time is expired.
