This is a demonstration of some of the ideas we explored within the ProSynth synthesis project. Here you will be able to study the hierarchical linguistic representation we developed to describe the prosodic structure of utterances. You can look at the difference between the effects of the phonetic interpretation rules developed from a study of the ProSynth corpus, and the set of rules described by Dennis Klatt. Finally, you can listen to the ProSynth synthesis through either a formant or a diphone synthesizer.
