The English Language & Communication Group is seeking two visiting
(part-time) lecturers for the academic year 2005/6 (Semesters A and B).
They will contribute to the enhancement of the Group's undergraduate
provision in one or more of the following areas: History of the English
Language, Sociolinguistics, Discourse Analysis, Pragmatics and Grammar.
Successful candidates will have relevant teaching experience at
undergraduate level, and should have completed or be near completion of a PhD.
There is the possibility, after a satisfactory period of employment, to
promotion to Associate Lecturer.
