We saw in Tip 32 that the pronunciation of o is a bit unpredictable. Here is a list of words which all contain <ov>. Sort them into three separate lists. List 1 should contain all the words which have the vowel /V/ as in love. List two should contain all the words like drove where the vowel is /@U/. List 3 should contain the words like move where the vowel is /u:/.
